BE LIKE WATER

Be Like Water began from the observation of accidental stains, spills and traces, and from an interest in allowing forms to emerge rather than imposing them in advance.

The paintings were built through successive layers, reserves, transparencies and excavations. Earlier states were never completely erased; they remained partially visible beneath the surface, creating depth and preserving traces of the painting’s own process. Resin intensified this sense of depth, bringing together transparency, reflection and accumulated layers.

The works explore transformation, fluidity and the tension between control and chance, allowing the image to evolve through the act of painting.
